You have received this survey as part of a Government review of on the role of First Responders. You have been asked for your input due to your experience in this area, for example in training First Responders, or through you work in modern slavery policy.

The Government announced a number of reforms to the National Referral Mechanism (NRM), the system through which potential victims of modern slavery are identified and supported. To improve identification of victims of modern slavery, the Government announced it will strengthen the First Responder role by reviewing the criteria used to establish who should be a First Responder and how they should be trained.
